Simply the best service around. Fast, effortless, no-nonsense but friendly and attentive. I've use them for years and they have never once recommended unnecessary repairs or parts, even though it would be easy for them to do so on my elderly "hobby" cars. Note to Heart: it's a Corvette, not just a Chevrolet!

I've been going to HEART for the two years I've lived in Northbrook. They are seriously THE BEST! They explain everything and are transparent about the services to be done. From the customer service, quality work, and all the way to the waiting area... they set the bar for what an auto service shop should be. The last service I received was an oil change and tire rotation before moving and driving the car to Alabama. Car ran nicely and got my whole family to the destination in one piece, couldn't ask for more. I will miss HEART dearly and will be looking for a shop like HEART here, but I doubt any will compare down here. Thank you Armando,Jaime, and the crew for the best of the best in the auto service game!

Outstanding staff: service techs and the service coordinators. They know their stuff but we are always treated like family, never condescending. Each person and their vehicle is treated with respect. Very timely and prompt with diagnoses and repairs. Great communication, status updates as needed. Flexible and accommodating as well with drop-off/pick-up, including after hours. They also understand priorities and are helpful navigators when there are budget constraints. Time and time again, the HEART team delivers excellent service!

Excellent work by Armando and team! Armando was very transparent with me, and walked me through what was going on with my car while showing me pictures of the problems. I really appreciated that, as my previous experiences as of late have been getting emails by the dealerships when my car was finished being serviced and a list of work that "needs" to be done without explanation. I hated that because I wanted to be told by a human being what needed work and why. Thanks guys, I'll be back whenever work needs to be done.

From my first experience, in May of ‘22 (ended up being a simple code reset which they did for free) to my latest experience in March of ‘24 (installing a fuel filler neck), this place has been nothing short of honest and reliable. You’ll always get a quote before they begin work and they’ll let you know of other potential issues without being pushy. I take all the family cars here.

After reading such high reviews of this place, I was pleasantly surprised, the team here really did meet the high expectations! I brought my car in for a grinding sound that happened with my steering. They were very professional, and the best part for me personally was their explanation of the issue. They even pulled up a 3D diagram online while explaining the issue and how they would fix it. They worked entirely around my preferred schedule. For any future issues, we would be confident to bring our Toyota back to HEART certified Auto Care. Thanks to Armando and team!

I have been going to Heart auto long before their name change years ago. I have experienced honest and quality work. Most recently, several months ago, I had some work done but had to bring my car back in earlier this week with a related minor issue. Even months later, they made a simple fix as a follow up free of charge and got me back on the road the same day.

Reasons to come to HEART:1. They talk to me like a human and don't talk down to me. I took a mechanics class (40 yrs ago) and my wasband couldn't change a headlight when I met him ... but auto mechanics would dismiss me and (try to) talk with him.2. Comprehensive though they don't use scare tactics3. Reasonable priced4. Keisha ... has worked here for 30+ years. That tells me they treat their employees well.5. These guys are fast and they do a good job. They will tell you what NEEDS to be done and what can wait. Great price on an oil change with coupon (go to the website or sign up for texts, they will also mail them.) The work they do is right in the middle of "expected cost."

I am basically new to the Wilmette area and I heard about Heart auto care Wilmette from a friend and just took my sons car in for an oil change. The staff was spectacular and so was the service! Smiling friendly faces everywhere! They had me in and out of there in no time and they also took the time to inspect my car and came out with a comprehensive report of what I needed. I am a FUTURE customer of Heart Auto Care! I want to send a shout out to one of your team members, Ricky in Northbrook. Two days ago I got a flat tire on the highway and was seriously stuck! No one coming for my daughter & I on a Sunday afternoon. Just as I was starting to panic, he pulls off the highway in front of us, changes my tire in no time at all - cars whizzing by him going 80mph, seriously putting himself in a dangerous place for someone he doesn't know.Not so many people would do this! I'm so incredibly grateful for this man's genuine concern and care for others, it was truly heartwarming and something I won't forget.Ricky, you're the best! My car has been serviced here twice, and I recommend them. They are very thorough with each visit. I come in for an oil change, but in addition to the oil change, they also check several other things (air filter, coolant, etc.) to make sure that my car is in perfect running condition. The staff is friendly, efficient and helpful. The facility is clean and large with a very comfortable waiting area. I will definitely continue to bring my car here.

This is a seriously great place! I scheduled an appointment after reading the reviews on here and had an even better experience than I was expecting. Armando and the team made me feel really well-taken care of and it seemed like my thoughts and concerns were important to them in determining what kind of work was needed to be done. I had a specific request and they accommodated that with no hesitation. Additionally, as someone who doesn't have much knowledge of car repair or how cars work, Armando showed me what and why my car needed. Almost every step of the appointment (initial meeting, deciding on what work was needed and why, post-repair and handing back of keys) was completed with me feeling confident that my car was in the hands of skilled and considerate folk. The costs were also laid out in an honest way. I haven't felt so stress-free about car repairs as I had that appointment at HEART, and it was a great first impression. And not as important, but still nice, were the free beverages and popcorn for folks waiting on their cars. You'll feel well-taken care of here.

Had my first visit few days ago for a Q7 oil change. Everything went well. Online appointment was easy to make and they text you make sure they are expecting you. Hearth Auto has been stellar! My car is a 2010 with 140k miles, so it is at the stage of its life where it is needing a fair amount of upkeep. Heart Auto has been stellar at diagnosing, scheduling, and resolving those issues! I moved here relatively recently and went through a number of mechanics, including the Chevy dealership. Heart out-performs them all with ease. Strongly recommend Heart Auto for all range of car needs!

Earlier this year, I took my 2013 Hyundai Sonata to Heart. The front end was vibrating at speeds over 63 mph. They preformed a free diagnosis and informed me that I needed a steering bushing and new tires for both the front and back. After the repairs, there was still some vibration, so I returned to Heart. They checked the suspension, which was found to be in good condition. However, I still needed new tires. I replaced the tires and now the car rides like brand new. Thanks for providing professional service! NOTE: The suspension and bumper to bumper service check when you get an oil change is very helpful. Also, I must say - thank you Kieesha for keeping me informed.

Here’s an update. Below comments prevail along with their identifying situation recently with our Toyota parts ordered, installed and inspected. Car performance was 100% improved. What a great result.Previous comments continue. Efficient, experienced, responsive, cooperative, professional, communicative and realistic. Better than any dealer I've worked with. They have loaned me one of their service cars so I could get around while our vehicle was in for maintenance or repairs. Heart Auto Care saved my day! I had a tire blow out and tried to make it to their location but the tire gave out about 50 yards away. They came out and replaced the flat with my spare tire so I was able to get it into the shop without having to have it towed. Then they gave me my estimate before starting the work and did an excellent job. Great customer service and follow up

My Porsche Macan S was due for its 40K service. I was a little uneasy about taking it to a service provider that was not a Porsche Dealership, but they did an excellent job explaining all of the components of the 40K service and the Porsche parts they would be using. They have two mechanics with extensive experience on German cars. I will not hesitate to bring my car back in the future. Ben, Steve, Frank are all highly knowledgeable at the service counter.
