Great service and very easy/efficient. I had a leaking valve stem on a tire I actually bought from Duxler. When I told them the problem they replaced the tire at no cost, no questions asked. Friendly service and very patient.

I've been taking our cars to Duxler for 16+ years (usually Wilmette, but also Skokie and Kenilworth) and have always had a consistently positive experience. The Duxler team has been helpful in finding the safest and where possible, most cost efficient approach to car care-I always appreciate the "what needs to be done now and what might be coming down the road" approach. I recommend them highly.

I've been to Duxler a few times now. First for my old '99 Sunfire that needed a new battery and alternator. Now I have a nice new car and two days after buying it the brakes didn't work on a cold morning. I took it to the dealer and they said there must be water on the brakes. Awesome, how does that happen? So I take it to Duxler for a second look (because I TRUST Mark and his crew) and they tell me that the dealer had washed my engine and it got moisture in the brake booster causing my brakes to freeze up. I felt good having an actual cause for my problem and was assured it wouldn't happen again unless I got my engine cleaned again (which I would never have done in the first place...) On top of it they told me the dealer put new back tires on but that they should have rotated them since it's winter and you want your best tires in the front. Once again they one-upped my dealer. Thank you for all your kindness, the comfortable lobby, your courtesy car service, and personable demeanor. I will continue to come here and recommend Duxler to my friends!

I tried this place for new brakes on a referral from a friend. The staff there was very nice. As with any repair shop, they check over the car and give you a list of recommended repairs which always puts me on the defensive, but I chose what I wanted to do and they took care of it without any pressure. Overall it was as good of an experience as getting your car fixed can be, and I would go back to them again next time. The free loaner car is a big plus for me.

I have brought my car into Duxler many times over the years for repairs. They have always been 25 to 30% cheaper than the dealer (when I have gotten additional estimates) and they do a great job. I have also brought my car in a number of times for minor things like headlight replacement and checking on a warning light that went on in my car; and they have serviced these items - right away, for no charge. They are the best.

Brad B., thank you very much for posting this wonderful feedback and trusting your car to Duxler!

These guys are the best. I had a nagging problem with my care right before family road trip vacation and they worked diligently to fix the problem. I was so impressed with their thorough work and they way the dealt with me. They also rotated my tires for free. I would highly recommend these guys to anyone!

These guys rock. I went in for two minor things that they took care of free-of-charge on two separate occasions. The first time was great advice for fixing my problem that included super glue and a penny -- I did it myself and it works! The full service gas feature is great, too. I'll be going back.

These guys are UPCHARGE SHARKS! don't go here. You can get a honest and fair job done at Maydays auto repair or Bryan's garage-both on Central.

I love that they pump the gas for you, and check the oil, replenish the windshield washer fluid, and clean the front and back windows. Such a treat, I feel like a queen when I go for a fill up! And I drive a ten year old Honda Accord, so that's kind of a miracle. They charge the same as the self-serve stations, and they won't take tips, but will offer you a candy bowl when they're done. The last time I was there my oil was low and it was almost time for a change. I hopped out of the car and they did it while I waited and read People magazine. Cost was $26.22. They also looked the car over, and noted that I need new tires, which I knew. Cost they quoted for tires was $498.00, which includes free repairs if you should run over a nail. They also noted that I need struts front and back. Cost they quoted was $1440. Very nice guys. I will update if I get the work done.

I feel they are honest do very good work and recommend options on pricing for budgets if necessary.
