Service Writer - Northbrook Location

About
To drive sales by executing best practices and ensure each customer is provided with the HEART experience. To aid in any areas the store manager may require assistance. To create a positive selling environment through professional communication with customers, management, service technicians, etc.

Compensation
Service Writer – DOE starting at $45,000

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all job tickets and work orders are completed, assigned, and monitored in a timely manner
  • Ascertains automotive problems and services by listening to customer’s description of symptoms; clarifying description of problems; checking vehicle maintenance records; examining service schedules
  • Prepares repair orders by describing symptoms, problems, and causes discovered, as well as repairs and services required
  • Able to execute all front desk responsibilities as needed.
  • Maintain/ Execute Best Practices
  • Maintain, file, reconcile, invoices, accounts payable, etc
  • Provide positive resolution to customer issues, problems or concerns. Additionally, monitor and maintain timelines of customer service

Front Counter Reception - Northbrook Location

To create a positive selling environment through professional communication with customers, management, service technicians, etc. Ensure all customers are provided with the HEART experience.

$25,000 to $35,000 Annually

  • Greet and engage customers in a timely basis
  • Assist in creating job tickets and work order for customers
  • Answer phones in a polite, timely, professional manner

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Have a minimum of 5 years experience
  • Strong ability to repair and diagnose Domestic, Asian, and European cars and trucks
  • Have necessary tools
